Editorial Policy
How we research, write and correct the information on this site.
Sources
Facts about health, drying, flooding and insurance come from public agencies and established references, including the U.S. EPA, the CDC, FEMA and the National Flood Insurance Program, and Springville City. Local facts about neighborhoods and waterways come from city and county sources where available. Sources are listed on each page.
Writing
Every page is written for this site in our own words. We do not copy text from contractors or other sites, and we do not reuse pages from other cities. We describe what is typical and say when something depends on the house, the water or the policy.
What we will not publish
We do not publish rates or quotes, fabricated reviews, ratings, years in business or credentials that we cannot verify. We do not claim to perform restoration work. Images are illustrative and are labelled as such.
Corrections
If something on this site is wrong or out of date, we correct it and update the date on the page. Information here is general and is not legal, insurance or medical advice.
Local accuracy
Neighborhood and local details are checked against Springville City and Utah County sources where they exist. Where a fact cannot be confirmed, we leave it out rather than guess. If you live in Springville and notice something about your neighborhood that is wrong, we want to correct it.
Images
Photographs on the site are illustrative and are labelled that way. They do not show specific Springville homes or jobs.
